Armand’s Bio

Armand has been a research scientist at the Canadian Forest Service’s Laurentian Forestry Centre since 1995. He holds a B.Sc. degree in microbiology from U of Sherbrooke; a M.Sc. in molecular biology from U of Montreal (Montreal Cancer Institute) and a Ph.D. in forest sciences from Laval U. He received a postdoctoral fellowship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and went to San Diego California for training in plant molecular biology at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies.
