Birds of the Humber Bridge Country Park and Hessle

Monday 29th October, 7.30pm

Anlaby Park Community Library

The Greenway, Anlaby High Road, HU4 6XH.

Come along to an indoor Autumnwatch event, and hear about the birds living in our woods, meadows and your gardens.

During the spring, ornithologist Richard Baines carried out a survey to find out how many birds are nesting in the country park.  The last large survey was 15 years ago.  Has anything changed?  And where are the best places for birds to thrive, while living alongside us?

Richard is a knowledgeable conservationist and a great story teller. Once a countryside ranger at the Country Park, Richard now concentrates on ecological surveying and leading wildlife tours.  This will be an enthralling evening suitable for adults and young people who love wildlife.

Free event, donations welcome. An illustrated talk with refreshments

Supported by the Friends of the Humber Bridge Country Park.

We are a voluntary group working enthusiastically to conserve ‘Little Switz’.
