Florida Gardiner Scholarship

Information for Florida Unschoolers Families

For general information on the Florida Gardiner Scholarship see this page -- http://www.fldoe.org/schools/school-choice/k-12-scholarship-programs/gardiner/

Florida Unschoolers, a private school for home educators, does not and will not participate in the Gardiner program or any other state-funded grant program. However, some of the students enrolled with Florida Unschoolers are recipients of a Gardiner grant and use those funds for expenses other than tuition.

Florida Unschoolers does not require, offer or administer annual evaluations, assessments or standardized testing and Florida Unschoolers students who are recipients of a Gardiner grant are not required to have annual evaluations, assessments or standardized tests.

If your child is enrolled with Florida Unschoolers, you will need a letter confirming their enrollment as part of your Gardiner application. When you get to that part of the application or renewal process, request the letter and include your child's name, birthdate and the grade they will be listed in with the Gardiner program by sending an email here: director@floridaunschoolers.net
