Florida Cracker Bass Club

Club Background

History of Our Club

The Florida Cracker Bass Club was founded in 1989 and significantly expanded in 1993 by merging with the Golden Gate Bass Club. Although we started by having 6 tournaments each year at Lake Okeechobee, we now have 12 tournaments per year at many lakes and canals in the state.

Currently (December 2008), we have 38 members and are always looking for both boaters and non-boaters who are interested in a fulfilling fishing experience. Membership dues are $25.00 per year and there is a $25.00 entry fee for each tournament. There is also a $25.00 "Non-Boater" fee which is paid by all participating non-boaters. This fee is paid directly to the boater with which they will be fishing during the tournament to help with fuel and oil costs. Additional "Big Bass" & "8 lbs. +" competitions within tournaments. Ask a club official for details and fees for these competitions.

Pre-Tournament meetings are held on the Tuesday prior to each tournament at the VFW on the corner of CR951 & Pine Ridge Road @7:00 PM.
