There was no official meeting scheduled for January, Instead the officers met Tuesday Jan 20, 2026  to discuss the coming club year. 

DISCUSSIONS:

• As we have only 2 general meetings before our Spring Luncheon Fundraiser in April for “Hope Scarves”, we are asking anyone who has items to donate to the bling table and bring them to the February 17, 2026 meeting.  Also, please consider volunteering for the Registration Table and Raffle Ticket Sales which will be a big assistance. (Hopefully you have begun to think about baskets and other items for the silent auction.)

• At the 2/17/26 Meeting, we will be passing sign-up sheets for becoming Lunch Hostess for future meetings.

• Sharon and I will be planning the April Luncheon menu for the event.  We will coordinate this with Triple Crown Country Club once they reopen in early February.

• Also for the Feb 17th meeting, Sharon and Bethany are February’s hostesses. This is a change for our February meeting.  We will have a different guest speaker coming in from St Timothy’s Outreach Organization who will tell us about Walking With Mothers in Need. As well, a change as despite over a half dozen phone messages and emails since December, no one from the Down Syndrome Association has responded.
