Memory Book Photos Needed
Memory Book is a photo book of Florence Roche students, filled with over 50 pages of smiles and memories from the school year.  The candid photos are all taken by parents!  So if you attend a school or classroom event and you have taken photos that can be shared, please visit the following link at Entourage Yearbooks and upload your photos.

You will need to register to upload pictures, so please create a login and personal password. This will be the same login you will use when purchasing your memory book.  The school password is:  memorybook.

    Science Fair News

We hope all scientists are excitedly working on their creations for March 28!  The fair is free and open to the public.  We encourage families to come and see what these outstanding students have achieved on Saturday, March 28 from 1-4 in the Groton Dunstable Middle School South Gym.  We have a small team and would like additional volunteers to help with set up, clean up and a seamless check in process.  Please use the Sign Up Genius link and thank you for helping!

sweatshirtDue to a ceiling leak which damaged some of the spare clothes kept in the nurse's office, they are in need of t-shirts in all sizes for girls and boys.  If you are able to donate any gently used shirts it would be much appreciated!

    Turn Your Trash Into Cash!

The Florence Roche-Boutwell PTA has joined two TerraCycle  Recycling "Brigades!"

Our goal is to educate our students about the importance of recycling, reducing waste and reusing materials to create a more sustainable future for our planet!

We will have collection bins in the cafeteria, and encourage all families to send in items from home as follows:

Energy Bar/Granola Bar Accepted items:  All Foil-lined wrappers from energy bars, granola bars, meal replacement bars, protein bars, diet bars, and wrappers.

Drink Pouch Accepted Items: Aluminum drink pouches, plastic drink pouches, drink pouch straws, and drink pouch straw wrappers.

Please remind your child to place these items from their lunch and snacks into the specially marked bins in the cafeteria, instead of the regular trash.

TerraCycle offers national programs (Brigades®) to collect previously non-recyclable or hard to recycle waste. TerraCycle's goal is to eliminate the idea of waste by creating collection and solution programs for all kinds of typically non-recyclable waste. These programs are free, and for each unit of waste collected we will earn TerraCycle points redeemable for upcycled products, charitable gifts, or payment to our school.

For more information, visit: http://www.terracycle.com or send an email to:jnmegan@gmail.com.

    Leadership Positions Available
We are actively recruiting the following open positions in the PTA leadership for the 2015/16 school year:

    - PTA Co-President
    - PTA Secretary

Without volunteers to fill these roles our PTA would be unable to sponsor many of the popular enrichment and fellowship events we currently offer.  Please carefully consider if you would be willing to step up and take a more active role in our PTA by taking on one of these positions!
