Fernando Lopez G.

I am an assistant professor of finance at Alberto Hurtado University (Chile) and editor of the journal Gestion y Tendencias (GESTEN), which covers a variety of topics in business and management. I graduated with a Ph.D. in FinanceĀ from the
John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis in May 2014, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chile in 2005

My research interests revolve around the determinants of consumer's financial decision making (primarily investments, credit and insurance) and financial economics. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses on investments, corporate finance and behavioral finance.
