New Rocket

My newest rocket, Splicer is under construction. It is called that because it is the first rocket I am splicing. It is the one pictured in the Flight Command logo.

12/11/11:

The sleeve and patch are almost done curing. Unfortunately, the nozzle and connecter isn't working so I have to make a new one. Also, my non return valve and pressure release valve are complete and now just need to be fitted to the air hose. Budget is currently low so I am worried. I just need one more quick connector and a hose barb attachment. Next time I build a launcher, I will consider getting a compressor.

12/6/11:

The first glue stage of splicing is complete. I still have to make the sleeve. The technique I am using can be found at http://www.aircommandrockets.com/construction_6.htm

12/4/11:

I have begun to build the rocket. It is for my science project.

What goes up, must come down.

You don't need a parachute to launch a rocket, but you need a parachute to launch a rocket twice.
