It is our pleasure to announce the first annual Congressional STEM Competition for High School students in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District. The competition is for students who wish to design a software application on the platform of their choice, and then present the functionality of their app to a panel of judges via a short video.
The purpose of the creation of this competition is to encourage and stimulate more participation the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
The competition will be open until April 30th, 2014. The winning app will be featured on the House of Representatives website
