What is leisure? Leisure is what you enjoy doing for fun or on your free time. In the 1970s teenagers enjoyed going to the cinema, listening to music, drawing, reading and jumping rope. Some of their things they do on their free time is similar to what teenagers do now but, at the same time its different. The similar things are going to the cinema, or the movies and listening to music. Most teenagers don't really read on unless school makes them, they don't really jump rope and a lot only draw if its required, such as an art project.

Some teenagers enjoyed listening to music with their friends and on their free time. They didn't have IPods and MP3 players in the 1970s so when they listened to music it was usually from the radio because CD players weren't invented.  Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, David Bowie and The Isley Brothers were very popular music artists at this time. The song Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer was a very popular song written by Stevie Wonder. That's All Right was also a very popular song by Elvis Presley.
