Although we are not fans of the local montessori school on Hilton Head which has been plagued by mismanagement issues for years, we are still big supporters of the method.
A newspaper recently contacted a Montessori school and asked, “Do you have any geniuses at your school? We’re doing an article on geniuses.”
The Head replied, “Every one of our students is a genius. You need to come and see for yourself.”

The newspaper recognized that the lessons learned in Montessori can help your child become successful at whatever she or he wants to do in life. Maybe all Montessori children are not geniuses, but YOU - the parent are, for selecting Montessori for your child.

Alexander Graham Bell, noted inventor, provided financial support directly to Dr. Maria Montessori and helped establish the first Montessori school in Canada, and one of the first in the United States. So did Thomas Edison.
