Tom Tietze built the FitToFit app as a free application. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform website visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Data processing and storage

No data will be collected or disclosed to third parties. Only data necessary for processing will be temporarily stored. The data is stored only locally on the device. If you want to delete the stored data, all you have to do is delete the app data on your device and uninstall the app.

To protect the processed data, only the official interfaces and the transmission paths specified there are used for the transfer between the FitToFit app and the providers Fitbit and Google Fit. This includes the use of OAuth 2.0 and HTTPS for secure transmission of your data.  The following describes which data can be queried via these interfaces and what they are specifically used for:

Fitbit data

• Profil data

The profile information is needed for the visualization of the current user. The data is stored locally on the device until the next login.

• Device data

The information about devices linked to the Fitbit account is needed to display them to the user and to determine the last time of synchronization. The data is only stored temporarily on the device.

• Activity data

The activity data includes information about recorded activities, as well as step counts, distances traveled, calories, and speeds. While using the app, some of the data will also be used to display on the screen. The data is only temporarily stored for processing and visualization of the data on your device.

• Heart rate data

The heart rate data includes information about the recorded heart rate, the intensity levels, and the resting heart rate. While using the app, some of the data will also be used to display on the screen. The data is only temporarily stored for processing and visualization of the data on your device.

• SpO2 data

The SpO2 data includes information about the recorded oxygen saturation of the blood. While using the app, some of the data will also be used to display on the screen. The data is only temporarily stored for processing and visualization of the data on your device.

• Sleep data

The sleep data includes information about the time, duration and intensity of recorded sleep. While using the app, some of the data will also be used to display on the screen. The data is only temporarily stored for processing and visualization of the data on your device.

• Weight data

The weight data includes information about recorded body weight and body fat percentage. While using the app, some of the data will also be used to display on the screen. The data is only temporarily stored for processing and visualization of the data on your device.

• Nutrition data

The nutrition data includes information about recorded foods with the appropriate nutritional values and water. While using the app, some of the data will also be used to display on the screen. The data is only temporarily stored for processing and visualization of the data on your device.

 Google Fit data

• General account information

Access to general account information of your Google account is required to  display the Google account currently in use in the app. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

• Activity information

Access to activity data is required to transfer the data to Google Fit. Fitness data, such as step counts, is queried from Google Fit to be displayed to the user. In addition, access is required to enter step counts, activities and associated calories in Google Fit. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

• Location information

Access to location data is required to insert distance data in Google Fit, such as distances covered and detected speeds in activities. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device. No information about the location of the user is requested or collected.

• Sleep information

Access to sleep data is required to insert sleep sessions into Google Fit. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

• Heart rate information

Access to heart rate data is required to insert heart rate into Google Fit. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

• SpO2 information

Access to SpO2 data is required to insert oxygen saturation into Google Fit. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

• Body information

Access to body sensor data is required to insert weight and body fat data into Google Fit. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

• Nutrition information

Access to nutrition data is required to insert food and water data into Google Fit. If necessary, this data can be queried by the user from Google Fit and visualized. The data is only temporarily stored on the device.

Google Play Services

The Google Play Services will be used to access to Google Fit. The privacy policy for that can be found here: Google Privacy Policy

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collection information and to improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies. If you choose to refuse the cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
