Fit Oshkosh, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Established in July 2014, Fit’s mission is to increase the Racial Literacy of the residents in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, as well as throughout the state and elsewhere in the nation through education, training, advocacy and research.
Local nonprofit, Fit Oshkosh, Inc. Hosts 1st Annual Community Dinner
The public is invited to a Community Dinner and Silent Auction to support Fit Oshkosh, Inc., a local 501c(3) organization dedicated to increasing the racial literacy of Winnebago County.
The dinner will be held at La Sure’s Banquet Hall, 3125 Washburn St., Oshkosh on Thursday, August 11, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Over a delicious, plated dinner, attendees will enjoy live entertainment and a keynote address by Dr. Michael V. Johnson, from Chicago, Illinois. There will also be a presentation of our Local Hero Award, and a silent auction with wonderful offerings from the community.
Proceeds from the event will support Fit Oshkosh’s Racial Literacy Programming for academic year 2016-17, including more color-brave community reads, monthly film and discussion events and our popular game nights. Fit Oshkosh also offers custom training and consulting services.

Stay tuned: On October 2, Fit will host our 2nd annual basketball game for community youth and members of the Oshkosh Police Department.
