March Madness begins!

It is that time of the year to review for MCA testing in April.  The first week in March we will be reviewing multiplication facts.  As a 5th grader it is a must that you know these.  We have used many apps and websites.  Check out this video to see that there really aren't that many to learn.

Spelling Goal

At school you can use the Spellingcity app to practice.  Students can take the test on the iPad at school or take the test on paper if they prefer.   
Their goal is to get at least an 80% each week on their Spelling test.

Geography Goal

Awards will be given at the end of the year for knowing the location of each state, the capital of each state, and the nicknames of each state.  Students can practice for these awards on the GeoSafari game in the class and by going to this website
