Jie Qin (秦杰)
Short Bio
I am currently a Professor and Director of the Multimedia and Visual Perception Laboratory (MVP Lab) at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), Nanjing, China. Before that, I was a Research Scientist with the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIAI), Abu Dhabi, UAE, and a Postdoctoral Researcher working with Prof. Luc Van Gool at the Computer Vision Laboratory (CVL), ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing, China, under the supervision of Prof. Yunhong Wang. During my Ph.D., I visited The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK, as a Visiting Researcher, working with Prof. Ling Shao.
