FIRE is a tool that scores genome-wide single nucleotide variants (SNVs) based on their potential to regulate the expression levels of nearby genes.

Pre-computed FIRE scores for all SNVs in hg19/GRCh37 are available for download:

chr1 chr2 chr3 chr4

chr5 chr6 chr7 chr8

chr9 chr10 chr11 chr12

chr13 chr14 chr15 chr16

chr17 chr18 chr19 chr20

chr21 chr22 chrX chrY

Each file contains 5 columns:

1. chr (chromosome)

2. pos (position in hg19/GRCh37)

3. ref (reference base)

4. alt (alternate base)

5. FIRE (FIRE score between 0 and 1)

Higher FIRE scores reflect greater evidence that the SNV regulates the expression level of one or more nearby genes.
