Fiordland Community Swimming Pool

The Fiordland Community Swimming Pool is a 25 metre heated indoor pool that is available to Te Anau residents and visitors from October to March.  The pool is located on Howden Street on the edge of the Fiordland College campus. (Map)

Public Sessions 

As from Monday 3 February 2014 public sessions will be

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm

Saturday & Sunday 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm
  $6 Adults
  $3 College Student / Child
  $50 Adults 10 swim ticket
  $25     College Student / Child 10 swim ticket
Season passes are also available.

  • Lane swimming during college time On behalf of the swimming pool committee and Fiordland College we are going to have a trial of lane swimming for the last few weeks of the season, at the moment the days and times below are available.If for some reason the college or a primary school require the pool during these times they will have priority but think this probably will not happen so we can try this out and see how it goes.Monday 11am - 2pmWednesday 1.30pm - 3pmThursday 1.30pm- 3pmFriday 11am - 2pmCathy Lewsley has aqua aerobics on a Thursday between 12.30pm and 1.30pm and as far as I know there will be a lane made available.Other than that ...

  • Pool bookings 25 February, 3 March and 11 March The Te Anau Scouts will be using the pool between 7 - 8 pm on Tuesday 25 February and Tuesday 11 March to undertake swimming badges.Lane swimming will still be available as there is going to be a lane marked off.On Monday 3 March the Scouts have booked the pool between 7.30 pm and 8.15 pm for some fun activities so there will be no lane swimming available during this time.
