Green Bean Casserole - Finding Joy in My Kitchen


1 recipe Cream of Mushroom Soup

1/4-1/2 C milk 

8 C green beans, cut and cooked

pepper, to taste

2 tsp. soy sauce (optional)

1 (6oz) can of French Fried Onions (or about 2 C of homemade bread crumbs)


1) Prepare Cream of Mushroom Soup (or open the cans and combine with milk)

2) Boil/cook the green beans until tender

3) Combine soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper and beans and pour into in a 9x13 pan (or 3-quart casserole dish).

4) Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until warm and bubbly. Top with French Onions and bake an additional 10 minutes or until onions are lightly browned.
