Thinking about taking college classes while in high school? Early College/Running Start allows high school students to take college courses while earning both high school and college credits. In the Fall/Spring, we will be offering all Early College courses online, asynchronously.
There are several different dual credit programs in Hawaii that academically qualified high school students can participate in. The two most common dual credit programs are Early College and Running Start. The comparison chart below outlines some of the big differences between the two programs.

College classes are offered at FHS campus through a partnership with Honolulu Community College. Students earn both high school credits and college credits through Early College classes. Tuition and fees are covered by Farrington High School, so students do not pay for classes and books at this time. Contact Mr. Honda or Mrs. Kruse for further information/questions.
