Kribensis Cichlid

Pelvicachromis pulcher

Kribensis are W. African cichlids. They are not fussy with water parameters and can live in soft or hard water. They are very hardy fish. They breed readily. With 140-180 fry they are quite easy to spawn. They get rather terratorial at breeding and protect their fry very well. They will kill fish if they get too close to their fry. They are cave breeders so provide a cave if you want to breed.
They need plenty of plants and swimmming space. They can live for around 5 yrs and are great for 1st time cichlid owners.
