Human Body Systems Brochure

You have been hired by Festus TipTop Travel Agency to design a new trip through the human body!  Before designing the itinerary, you must create a travel brochure to market your trip.  As an insurance precaution, you also need to address possible dangers tourists amy encounter along the way.  Be sure to cover all topics required by the bosses or risk being fired!

1. Examine and discuss travel brochure examples with the class.
        - Common Parts of Brochures:
                - general descriptive information
                - physical location
                - travel time
                - physical features
                - recreational activities
                - community size/floor plans
                - attractions
                - photos
                - amenities (what's available for use like pool, sauna, tennis court, etc.)

2. You will use respectable websites (SCROLL DOWN!) to research the body systems and complete a research packet for each system with specifc questions.  These questions must be answered in your own words as to avoid plagiarism!

3. Each website you visit must be cited by using Microsoft Word 2007 as shown below.  It will then be copied onto your brochure on a Works Cited section.
  • You may cite this (MY) webpage for all the links here, but if you use any other websites, they must be cited as well!

4. On your brochure, you will describe the Human Body Systems.
USE THE BLANK BROCHURE ATTACHMENT BELOW TO BEGIN YOUR PROJECT IN PUBLISHER!!!

5. For each body system you should inlude as much of the following as possible:
                - general descriptive information
                - physical location in body
                - how to travel between the systems (choose a specific order and say how we will get to the next location)
                - physical features/size
                - photos
                - 1 common disease or disorder with each system
                - imports and exports (what comes in and what goes out)
                - other questions asked on the research worksheets

6. Each system (and eac flap at least) should have a picture and each picture should cited as shown below:
