Don Giovanni at the Fredonia Opera House
1:00pm
Live via satellite in high definition from NYC's Metropolitan Opera

General Admission $20, S18 Opera House Members, $10 Students,       $142 Live at the Met Flex Subscription

The charismatic baritone Simon Keenlyside plays the title hero, opera's ultimate cad, who goes to hell in a dazzling coup de theatre, in this production of Wolfgang Mozart's Don Giovanni.

The ensemble of great Mozartean singers includes Hibla Gerzmava, Malin Bystrom, Rolando Villazon and Kwangchul Youn.  Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi is on the podium.

"He betrayed me, he abandoned me -- why do I still love him?"

Funny, terrifying, romantic and tragic -- Mozart's setting of the Don Juan story is an opera with everything, including some of the greatest music ever written for the lyric stage.  A staple of the operatic repertoire, Don Giovanni is currently 10th on the list of most performed operas worldwide.

The production runs three hours, 45 minutes with one intermission.

More information will be added in the future so be sure to stop back!
