In past years our festivals have brought nearly 8,000 visitors to downtown Fredonia annually. We received coverage from Western New York to Rochester to Cleveland, Ohio. Several articles have been written about Fredonia and its festivals in the Buffalo News, Gusto, Explore New York, ArtVoice, Observer, Post Journal, Chautauqua Star, "I Love New York" travel guides, Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau publications, Artifacts, Blues Beat Magazine, and Buffalo Spree. The festivals have been listed by Gusto as #1 in its list of Top Ten Places To Go for The Weekend. The coverage and reputation of Fredonia as a tourist atraction is growing every year.

We believe these visitors bring vital business to local merchants, accommodations and to the community in general. Festivals such as Fredonia History Days remembers our heritage and architechture; Red, White and Blues celebrates the vineyards, blues musicians and restaurants, Harvest Moon Cemetery Tour highlights our history with heroes and villains, and Miracle on Main Street brings the community together to enjoy our children and the spirit of the holiday. These are events that enhance quality of life and attract people to visit and stay in Fredonia.
