Charity Show - August 2007 at Kings Bromley in Staffordshire

We attended a local charity show at a farm in Kings Bromley in august, the show has been running for many many years and is in aid of St Giles hospice, it was the first time we have all been able to get together what with work and family commitments so it was nice to all go a good road run together and then end up at the show. The show itself consists of vintage/old cars from clubs, motorbikes, stationary engines and tractors amongst many other things.

Some of the tractors on show were: Marshalls, Fords, Leylands, Fordsons, internation and others

The day started off really good, the weather was overcast but the rain held off, we all met and took the short trip together, we had plenty of waves/smiles and horns pipped as the six tractors went along the roads, the three of them running on tvo smelt lovely. We arrived at the show around 10:30, there was plenty of people there and lots more arriving all the time, friends and family came to see us so we had a good natter then around 1 o'clock the heavens opened, we all got soaked, we took shelter but the heavy rain was in for the rest of the day. We packed up around 3pm and had to drive home in the pouring rain. What a shame ! we were all looking forward to a lovely day and the rained spoilt it.

We will be going again next year, will put the exact date up nearer the time (Will be around August 08) for anyone who wishes to attend.Lets hope the weather is better and we have a really good day.
