Podiatry plays a big part in some peoples lives, it helps keep them mobile and free from pain. If you have ever had an ingrowing toe nail or a corn you will know how painful it can be. Here at the foot care clinic we only employ registered podiatrists who can provide advice & treatment along with podiatry products such as creams, insoles, dressings etc.

Our podiatrists are registered with the HPC and the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists. Only the titles podiatrist and chiropodist are protected by law. Other foot related titles are unregulated by the Health Professions Council (HPC). Visiting an HPC registered chiropodist or podiatrist helps ensure safety and proficiency.

Many health insurance schemes e.g. Medicash, Birmingham Saturday Hospital fund accept our receipts so you may be able to claim back part of the cost your treatment.

Laser therapy is not a new treatment, but has been used in a clinical setting for around 40 years. The Low Level Laser stimulates and optimises the body’s natural healing process through controlled application of specific wavelengths of light which have particular physiological effects. The light stimulates the body at a cellular level and targets pain receptors and stimulates healing.

The clinician used different probes to deliver the light to the area required. An effective drug-free, non-invasive painless treatment modality. Although you may get relief from one laser treatment it is advised to complete a course of laser treatments to receive long term benefit.
