By offering renewable energy system rebates, technical support and the opportunity to sell power at a reasonable profit, Farmers Electric Cooperative is helping our customers become power producers!
Member customers have a choice between an incentive rate or a per watt rebate.
CONSUMER RENEWABLE ENERGY SALES

Metering and Service Facilities: Participation requires two meters. One to measure the kWhr output of the renewable energy system, and the other to measure kWhr used by the home or business.
Renewable Attributes: FEC will have ownership of all associated renewable attributes and allowances produced by the customer’s renewable energy system for the 10-year term.
Program Caps: Consumer system feed-in rate benefits shall be capped at monthly kWhr usage. Monthly production greater than monthly usage will be credited at $0.06 per kWhr.
