Foundations for Learning and Behavior, with 3 BCBAs and a total staff of 12, has been dedicated to serving families on the Eastside, Seattle and South Puget Sound since 2005. We provide ABA therapy in our facility in downtown Redmond where instruction is delivered individually and in small group, all with a one to one child-therapist ratio. IEP and home schooling consultations and behavior interventions for families are also available. “Foundations” is fully staffed with our own trained employee ABA therapists. We take most insurance including Premera, Group Health and Medicaid. We also have a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) on staff.

Beth's practice focuses on home and school based programming with a special interest in collaboration with school teams. Home program development, supervision and oversight as well as IEP development, review, participation in team meetings and continued monitoring to ensure proper implementation and progress. Development of school programming grounded in ABA and empirically based curriculum. Functional Behavior Assessments and addressing challenging behaviors in the public school environment (behavior support plans). Provides pre-service and in-service training and on -going support to school teams. Evaluations of current school placements, with research based recommendations.         Mindy has worked with children of all ages in various settings including schools, home and community for 15             years.

        For the past 10 years she has worked primarily with children diagnosed with ASD. 5 of those years were in a             school setting working 1:1 or in small groups with social skills and behavior goals. The past 5 years she has             worked independently as a behavior analyst providing 1:1 therapy and coordinating the home and school                 programs.

BEC provides home, school, and community-based consultation services in both King and Pierce county for children with autism and behavioral disorders. We provide individualized programs that focus on social, academic, and communication s skills, as well as community integration. Our services also include school consultations and professional development trainings.

Libby has worked with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities since 2005. She has experience that includes direct care, case management, teaching and private ABA therapy and behavioral coaching. She has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Education in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas State University, and is a Certified Counselor with the Washington State Department of Health. She is also published in The Journal of Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment as well as Research in Developmental Disabilities.
