The First Workshop on the Recent Advances in Fuel Cells, which will be held in Toronto, Canada on February 22, 2011, is intended to bring the researchers, scientists, engineers, policy makers, and students from the academia, industry, and government together to share and exchange information on the latest progress in the research and development of fuel cell science and technology. This event will also lead a new effective network and collaboration between the researchers of the universities and industrial partners.
 
The main focus of this workshop will be the research and development of low and high temperature fuel cell systems as well as the commercialization of the fuel cells. The topics covered will include but not limited to modeling, experiments, materials, manufacturing, and future strategies, policies, and directions for fuel cell science and technology.
 
In this one-day workshop, distinguished speakers from different universities, governmental laboratories, and industry will give presentations on several topics related to fuel cells. There will be also breakfast, networking/coffee breaks, and networking lunch.
