122P - Formulation and Adoption of Regulations

The board delegates to the superintendent the function of specifying required actions and designing the detailed arrangements under which the schools will be operated.

Such rules and detailed arrangements shall constitute the administrative regulations governing the schools.  They must be in every respect consistent with the policies adopted by the board.

In the absence of applicable policy, the superintendent is authorized to establish needed regulations subject to later confirmation in policy, should the board so wish.

The board reserves the right to review and veto administrative regulations should they, in the board's judgment, be inconsistent with the policies adopted by the board.
