118P - Special Meetings

The School Board may hold special meetings when necessary. These meetings shall be held when called by the chairman or when requested by two board members provided that all members are notified twenty-four hours in advance, or a reasonable attempt has been made to notify each member twenty-four hours in advance. The twenty-four hour notice may be waived in an emergency if a majority of the board, when polled by telephone or messenger, agrees.

No business shall be transacted at any special meeting which does not come within the purpose set forth in the call for the meeting unless all members of the board are present and unanimously agree to consider additional items of business.
