Love a Little Louder.

  • Our prayer for this retreat was not only to be a blessing to those who attend, but also to bless children who have been removed from their homes by CPS and served by the Isaiah117 House in McLennan County while they are awaiting foster placement.

  • Please help us by donating a NEW pair of children's shoes - for boys or girls ages birth to 18. These shoes do not have to be name-brand or expensive. Walmart and Target are great places to shop.

  • To help provide a wide variety of sizes for both boys and girls and because many times older foster children are overlooked, we suggest the following:

Last name A-B, purchase shoes for a BABY GIRL.
Last name C-E, purchase shoes for a TODDLER/PRESCHOOL GIRL.
Last name F-H, purchase shoes for an ELEMENTARY AGE GIRL.
Last name I-M, purchase shoes for a JUNIOR-HIGH or HIGH SCHOOL AGE GIRL.

Last name N-R, purchase shoes for a JUNIOR-HIGH or HIGH-SCHOOL AGE BOY.
Last name S, purchase shoes for an ELEMENTARY AGE BOY.
Last name T-V, purchase shoes for a TODDLER/PRESCHOOL BOY.
Last name W-Z, purchase shoes for a BABY BOY.

Please do NOT make this hard on yourself! If you can more easily shop for a different gender or different age than the one suggested, that is perfectly fine!

Treats & Eats.

  • We have an adorable retreat t-shirt for you! If you want to wear it at the retreat, it is black frost and will go great with jeans! Whether you want to wear it or not, please know casual dress is how we roll!

  • We will have a few extra goodies available for purchase. Tshirts - $12; prayer journals - $10. You can pay with cash, check or Venmo.

  • Your registration includes snacks and bottled water, but you are welcome to bring your own coffee or soft drink to get your morning started. Thank you for using a lidded cup to help prevent spills.

  • La Fiesta will be catering a delicious fajita lunch with all the fixins and iced tea. If you have dietary restrictions and need to bring your own lunch, refrigerator space is available.

Slumber party!

  • If you are staying in the Temple/Belton area on Friday night before the retreat, please please RSVP to join us for a SLUMBER PARTY at Residence Inn Temple from 6-9pm.

  • We'll have pizza, salad, and loads of fun!

  • No actual sleeping will be allowed. You'll have to go to your own room for that!

Ask. Commit. Expect.

  • ASK. If you're not sure about something, text or call Trae (254 DASH 715 DASH 7354)

  • COMMIT. Here's what we know. Between now and February 5, the devil will do all he can to keep you from this retreat. Don't let him have the victory! Commit to be there. Trust God to provide. Trust God to protect. Trust God. Period. And, please call or text for prayer or help.

  • EXPECT. Finally and most importantly, expect to encounter God! Expect to hear Him, to experience His goodness, and to PRAY IT FORWARD!
