The future of the fashion industry depends on encouraging, and exciting, high school students to pursue fashion as a career. To that end, the fifth annual FASHION INDUSTRY CONFERENCE, sponsored by the partnership between the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, Fashion Group International, and Washington State high schools and colleges, will be held Saturday, April 25. The day will feature 12 hands-on student workshops, a university student fashion show, a panel of industry professionals, lunch, door prizes, swag bags, and keynote speaker Loui Redmann, Volcom Global Bottoms Men's and Youth Product Manager.

The mission of the Fashion Industry Conference is to educate and mentor high school students interested in a career in fashion

This event is hosted by Art Institute of Seattle, in cooperation with Central Washington University, FIDM, Washington State University, WA-FCCLA and Seattle Sewing Guild
