About Me

I am a research scientist (CRCN) at the Hybrid Team at IRISA/Inria Rennes since 2016. I received my PhD in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya on 2011. My research activity has been devoted on the field of 3D User Interfaces (3DUI) which is multidisciplinary research field involving Virtual Reality, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Graphics, Human Factors, Ergonomics and Human Perception. My research is focused on the improvement of the usability in virtual reality applications, particularly, the analysis of the major factors influencing selection performance and the development of novel 3D object selection techniques. My knowledge in 3DUI also extends to manipulation, navigation and application control tasks. He was program co-chair of the IEEE Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces conference track in 2019 and 2020.
