I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of International and Middle Eastern Studies at the American University in Dubai (AUD).
My current research focuses on regionalism, sustainable energy transitions, and forced displacement in Central Eurasia.
My work has been published or is forthcoming in leading peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, including Nationalities Papers, European Security, Democratization, Central Asian Survey, Southeast European & Black Sea Studies, Caucasus Survey, Demokratizatsiya, Post-Communist Economies, Energy Policy, Journal of Eurasian Studies, Global Social Policy, and Current History, among other outlets.
