Slow Cooker Tuscan Sausage and Bean Soup

What you need:

    • 12 oz. turkey sausage or kielbasa, sliced into rounds
    • 2 cloves minced garlic
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 cup shredded carrots
    • 1 to 2 celery stalks, chopped
    • 1 bunch kale, chopped
    • 3+ cups chicken broth
    • 1 can (15.5 oz) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    • 1 can (15.5 oz) Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
    • 1 can (14.5 oz) can Italian seasoned diced tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1 tsp. dried basil

Directions:

    1. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker and stir to combine. Add more chicken broth, if needed.
    2. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until vegetables are tender.
