Homemade Chicken & Dumplings

What you need:

    • 2 cups flour
    • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 2 Tbsp. cold butter
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 qt chicken broth
    • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken

Directions:

    1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter.
    2. Stir in milk until dough forms.
    3. Roll out thinly on a heavily floured surface. Cut into 2x2-inch squares.
    4. Meanwhile bring chicken broth to a boil.
    5. Drop in squares one by one and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
    6. Add chicken and heat until warm.
    7. Sprinkle with pepper to taste.
