Meredith French
Hidden in Plain Sight

Meredith will share the fascinating inner life workings of insects in your garden covering the birth, love and death of creatures you have never noticed or have chosen to ignore. They all work together or at odds with each other to keep your garden healthy and vigorous.

Meredith is also an award-winning professional photographer in San Diego County since 1980 and has been a resident since 1968. She has been active in the UCCE Master Gardener program since 2005 where she specializes in habitat and rehabilitation gardening. She writes on a variety of garden topics and is a regular contributor to California Garden magazine. She often features the insects and other wildlife from her own certified habitat garden. She was awarded “Best Habitat Garden of 2010” and more recently “First Place - Article by Individual 2013” by California Garden Clubs, Inc. as well as its umbrella organization, the Pacific Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc.
