2:00 p.m. - Program: "Stephen Cantu: "Making Gardening Accessible to all Ages and Abilities.” Stephen is a Master Gardener, woodworker, journeyman, and carpenter. He consults on accessibility and ADA compliance, and is a wheel-chair athlete (’88 and ’92 Paralympics). He gardens on a two-acre hillside in Bonita, where he has a small vineyard and fruit orchard, a cactus garden, and a vegetable garden.

2:00 p.m. - Program: Diane Hazard: "Waterwise Gardening in San Diego County." Diane is Director of Education at the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation, a San Diego-based nonprofit organization that focuses on Zero Waste, composting, and water conservation. They mobilize the local community through innovative outreach and provide consulting services to businesses and jurisdictions in order to address the region’s most pressing environmental issues and enact impactful change. She will discuss how to reduce waste, conserve water and build healthy and sustainable soil.
