This is my second arrangment of this beautiful hymn. My mother, a ward choir director, asked for an arrangement for her choir and this is it. It is accessible for an SATB ward choir and an intermediate pianist. The sopranos split in the last verse, allowing those who aren't comfortable with the high notes to have a lower line.
This arrangement has allusions to the theme we know as 'be still my soul' (originally Finlandia, by Jean Sibelius.) I love the way the messages of each of those hymns work together. We can 'be still' and know that 'it is well' as we remember the Savior and look forward to the time we will see Him again.
