P.T. is Here!  P.T. is “PRAYING TOGETHER!”

Praying together is so vital to the health and growth of Faith UMC.
We want to pray for the Lisle community.
We want to pray for those around us who “are not yet Christians.”
We want to pray for our own church’s
spiritual renewal and revival.
We want to pray that God would send us new people and
that we might grow numerically.
After all, this is the Lord’s church and He wants His enterprise to grow and flourish.

~ The Scriptures are clear on the importance of P.T. ~
James 4:2, says, “You do not have because you do not ask.”
Jesus says, “For where two or three have gathered in my name. I am there in your midst.” (Matthew 18:20)
This is the promise of PRAYING TOGETHER!
This is why we need to remember Jesus’ promise:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock,
and it will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives,
and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)
Join us each Sunday morning at 8:55 for 10 minutes of P.T.! See you there!

Get ready for some new music!  Faith's Memorial Fund Provides New Music! Thanks to Shirley Raht’s family, for approving use of her Memorial Fund for a new hymnal kit for Worship Hour.
This "green" kit includes slides that will allow us to project the words on the screen
that you would also find in our hymn books.
Shirley was heavily involved in our music programs over the years and although
she will be greatly missed, her love of music will continue to be shared
with her Faith Family and all those who come to Faith services.
