I really enjoy this page as it give me a chance to candidly answer questions I am frequently asked.

Q: Will the face painting damage clothing?

A: No - these paints wash out of clothing very well (as well as pillow cases because kids will want to wear the paint to bed).

Q: Is face painting OK for kids with allergies?

A: Absolutely - these paints are hypo-allergenic. This is of the utmost importance for myself and the manufacturer. Also, the paints I use have not been tested on animals.

Q: Do the face paints wash off of the skin easily?

A: Yes - the manufacturers of the paints I use place great importance on how easily the paints wash off of skin and from clothing. Baby wipes and/or soap and warm water is all that is needed to remove from the skin.

Q: My daughter’s party is on a tight budget but I want a face painter. Is this something I can afford?

A: Absolutely - for example, whether there are five or twenty kids, we can work together so all the kids are taken care of as quickly as possible. I give you control of what will be done so you don't spend any more than what is necessary. See the rates page for more information how we can work together to accomplish this.

Q: What kind of disposition do you have?

A: I am a very friendly and out-going person. Having three kids of my own, I have learned to become very patient, as well as know how to work with kids to understand exactly what they want.

Q: Why do you do this?

A: I am very much a people person. I really love children and seeing how happy they are when they are done being painted and run to show their painting off. This combined with always being a great art student makes me a great face painter.

Q: I was thinking of hiring a cartoon character like Sponge Bob. Why would a face painter be better?

A: Depending on the ages, some of the kids may not care for certain characters or may even be afraid of the character. And, once the character is gone, they are gone. When I do face painting, it’s something tailored to what they really like and stays with them for the remainder of the day or until it is washed off.

Q: I'm in Macomb County, how far are you willing to travel?

A: I am in Macomb County, but will pretty much travel any where in the Metro Detroit area. From St. Clair Shores to Brighton, from Ann Arbor to Clarkston - don’t be afraid to ask!

Q: What kind of party do you enjoy the most?

A: I really don’t have a preference because most involve children and I really enjoy seeing their faces light up when they see themselves in the mirror.
