Mental Health Advice for Distance Learners:
Enrolled students get free software from https://msdnaa.cse.dmu.ac.uk/
Simply log in using your username and password, as for Blackboard, and download lots of pieces of Microsoft software including Windows 7 Pro (N.B. SAS does not work well with Home editions or Vista). Furthermore, you can borrow SAS itself:
on-site students can collect it from the Faculty Advice Centre (0.4A Gateway house);
we post copies to the distance learning students who take the Data Mining module.
Every year we ask students to complete an electronic feedback questionnaire for each module.
A link will appear at the bottom of the "Start Here" page on each module shell on blackboard. They are anonymous and used to improve the course. Thus, we would very much appreciate you taking the time to complete one at the end of each module.
Thank you very much.
Additionally, feel free to fill, at any time, the feedback forms at the bottom of this webpage.
Acces Electronic journals, e-books and databases via your Single Sign On account from http://www.library.dmu.ac.uk/Resources/Databases/index.php?page=164. All registered students have a Single Sign On username and password (the same of Blackboard, MyDMU , etc.) . If you have any problems accessing resources then email justask@dmu.ac.uk or call 0116 257 7042.
