    In order to gain a better understanding of the time period described in the memoir you will need to explore the links below. Within the links you will discover more information about what led to the Holocaust, conditions during the Holocaust, and much more.

 
    While you are browsing through the links you will need to create a timeline of major events that took place during the lifespan of Elie Wiesel. This timeline should be completed on a poster board and must include a minimum of thirty events you find to be the most important. The events included in the timeline can be taken from any part of the world as long as it relates back to the Holocaust. Each event must be accompanied by 2-3 sentences as to why it is important or relative to the Holocaust.
 
    Attached below is an example of what a timeline could look like for this assignment. Feel free to use appropriate pictures from online or even magazines and newspapers that could represent the different events on your timeline.
