Trees next door

April 2009.    The beauty is right next door.  The photograph reminds me of the photography of Wayne Bullock.  Notice the subtle gradations of grey and the perfectly balanced composition captures a cold beautiful feeling throughout the photograph. Nature is alluring and ethereal and shares its moods with such  mystery

Meandering Stream

March 2009. A soft Spring snowfall from my backyard. A creek that has now become a small stream, photographed from my elevated wood deck. I had to shore up the creek to stop some sudden land erosion. I am so impressed that I have a new meandering stream behind my home, now year around. The water gurggles and the surrounding sounds are soothing with many species of birds, plants, and wild life that inhabit the stream and the tree canopy above. I hope it doesn't turn into a river.
