~Tuesday, Sept. 6th Meeting~ 6:30 pm, 2 Azalea Rd. Our first PLC (Patrol Leaders Council) meeting will be held at the La Rochelle's house.
~Thursday, Sept. 8th Meeting~ 6:30 pm, Scout Hall. Our first Troop meeting after the Summer break, the Troop will be hosting the Webelos form pack 89 Cub Scouts
~Sunday, Sept. 11th Flag Ceremony~ 11:00 am, 30 Apothecaries Hall Rd. Patriot Day! Perform Flag Ceremony at the East Windsor Sportsman's Club. Class A uniforms, free meal provided by the Club and a check$$ to help support the Troop
~Wednesday, Sept. 14th Joining Night~ 6:30 pm, Scout Hall. Troop 89 will jointly host an Ice Cream Social with Pack 89 Cub Scouts and the East Windsor Girl Scouts intended to inform parents and children of the benefits of Scouting
~Thursday- Sunday, Sept. 15-18th Fundraiser ~ Four Town Fair Fundraiser!
All Scouts & Parents perform ticket collections at the Four Town Fair Sept.15th through 18th.
At least one adult and a Scout collect tickets and stamp patrons hands at 3 gates.
This will require ALL scouts to work at least two shifts with an adult ( approx 3+ hours per shift) and it will require some help from volunteers.
~Sunday, Sept. 18th Bike Ride~ Our Charter Organization, the East Windsor Lions Club, is hosting a "Ride for Sight" fundraiser bike ride, this event provides funds for those in need, cost is $35 per rider, any scouts that wish to attend the worthy cause must be accompanied by a parent for obvious safety reasons. If you wish to participate please contact the Scoutmaster, sign up must occur BEFORE Sept. 6th. Click> Registration Form
FYI: Miles logged on the ride may be used towards Bicycling Merit Badge, please contact the Scoutmaster for more info.
~Thursday, Sept. 22nd Meeting~ 6:30 pm, Scout Hall. Prepare a float for the Community Day Parade, set up Monkey Bridge at Reservoir Park
Grocery $15 due, select a grocery shopper for Sept. 30- Oct. 3rd Webelos Camp Out!
~Saturday, Sept. 24th Event~ 9:30 am, Middle School. Community Day at Reservoir Park, Parade & more!
~Wednesday, Sept. 28th Troop Committee Meeting~ 7:00 pm, Scout Hall.
~Thursday, Sept. 29th Meeting~ 6:30 pm, Scout Hall. Prep for Camp Out with the Webelos
~Friday - Sunday, Sept. 30th - Oct 2nd Camp Out~ 6:30 pm - 11:00 am Scout Hall. Camp Out with the Webelos!
Possible Future Troop Activities :
· Scout Hall Service Project: Move the 'Lean Two' structure currently by the pond to the 'Way Back/ 3 Pines Campsite, move the 'Mini Pavilion' currently in the rear parking lot where the Lean Two is by the pond.
· Atlas Metal Works- Welding merit badge/ Trebuchet
· Canoe Trip / Family Trip: Otis Reservoir, Upper Connecticut River -or- Upper Delaware -or- St. Croix...??????

Patrol Leaders Council ( PLC ) meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at the LaRochelle's house 6:30 pm
Troop Committee meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month 7:00 pm
