Big THANK YOU to Barry Harte (& Will Turner) from the Hakudakan Martial Arts Club.

This was a lively and interesting evening where Barry taught a wide range of useful self- defence techniques to us as a martial arts "taster" session.

Visit to the Mayors office

An evening meeting the Mayor of Barnet, Cllr Brian Salinger.
Within the chambers in Hendon Town hall, the Mayor gave an interesting talk about the history and role of the Mayor and answered many questions and chatted to the Explorers
from Evolution, Merlin and Vernon units afterwards.

Some of the explorers also got to dress up!
