The Great Tribulation

One of the problems with this secret rapture theory, is that those who hold on to this false teaching, believe also that they will be 'raptured' away before the great tribulation. They believe that God does not want them to go through the tribulation, so they are waiting for God to take them away before it starts. Are they holding on to a false hope? I believe they are and they are in danger of not being prepared for what is to come. We have seen on the secret rapture page, that this doctrine is false and not Biblical, and I believe that the Bible is very clear on the issue of the great tribulation, that we WILL go through it.

Deuteronomy 4:29-31 ...'But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.' ... God is making a promise to His people, that WHEN they are in great tribulation, He will be there for them, if they seek Him with all their heart and soul.

What did God do with Israel when the plagues came on Egypt? Did He take them away from it? No, He protected them THROUGH it. Did God take the three away from the fire in Daniel, or protect them THROUGH it? Did God take Daniel away from the lions den, or protect him THROUGH it? What about the disciples in the New Testament? They went through great tribulation for Jesus and most of them were killed for their faith. And all those Christians who were tortured and killed at the hands of the Roman Church. Why would God let all previous Christians to go through tribulation and be killed, and yet take the end time Christians away from it? It makes no sense. Tribulation comes to our lives as a refining fire.

Matthew 13:20-21 ...'But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.' ... Jesus is telling the parable of sowing the seeds. Jesus confirms here that great tribulation will come, and when it does, those who do not have a good root (strong faith) will fall away. You see, many Christians need to be tested in order to refine their faith and see who really are the TRUE followers. And going through trials and tribulations is part of that. As Jesus says above in that parable, when the great tribulation comes, it will sift out those who are not totally committed to Him.

Matthew 24:21-22 ...'For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.' ... During the reign of the Roman Catholic Church between 538AD - 1798, millions and millions of Christians were slaughtered by the Roman Church. Now, did God take them away from this great tribulation? No, He was with them THROUGH it. Most of them were murdered by the Roman Church because of their true faith in Jesus. You and I may need to be killed for our faith, but God will be right there with us, helping us through it. He isn't going to take us away from it, as this false secret rapture theory teaches.

Are you willing to go through tribulation for your Saviour? Jesus Christ went through great tribulation for us, and died for us. Why should we not go through tribulation for Him? The great tribulation is coming for all TRUE Christians and you need to be ready for it, otherwise you may get sifted out like those that fell on stony places as above in Matthew 13. The problem today is that there are too many preachers out there preaching smooth doctrines and nice easy sounding things. They want you to believe that God only wants to give you prosperity and not tribulation. These are but lies from satan to make you unprepared for the trying time.

In This World we Will Have Tribulation

John 16:33 ...'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.' ... Again, Jesus confirms that in this world we will go through tribulation. But, don't worry about it and put your trust in Him, because He has already overcome the world.

Acts 14:22 ...'Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.' ... You cannot get a clearer verse than this one. How do we enter the Kingdom of God? Not just through tribulation, but THROUGH MUCH TRIBULATION, ie. the great tribulation! Having a true faith in Jesus isn't a picnic or stroll through the park as many preachers and professing Christians would suggest.

Romans 5:2-3 ...'By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience.' ... We need not worry about tribulation, on the contrary, we should rejoice, knowing that suffering tribulation for our faith, shows that we are doing something right. And also it refines our faith, producing patience, experience and hope.

Romans 8:35-39 ...'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.' ... Friend, this is the amazing Bible truth of Jesus Christ right here. No matter what satan can throw at us, as long as our lives are rooted in Christ Jesus, then no amount of tribulation or persecution can separate us from Him.

Rejoice in Tribulation for Christ Jesus

Romans 12:12 ...'Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.'

2 Corinthians 1:4 ...'Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.'

2 Corinthians 7:4 ...'Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.'

1 Thessalonians 3:4 ...'For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.'

2 Thessalonians 1:4 ...'So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulation that ye endure.'

I think God is revealing to us in all these verses that we will suffer tribulation. There is not one verse that says we will be taken away from the tribulation.

1 Peter 4:12 ...'Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial WHICH IS to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.' ... You would have to ignore many very clear Bible verses that say we will go through trials and great tribulation to hold on to the 'pre-trib' secret rapture theory. Many professing Christians in the world today WOULD think it strange that they should have to go through trials for their faith, because they believe in an 'easy' religion!

Revelation 2:10 ...'Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.' ... Be faithful unto death. The Word of God cannot be any clearer about the great tribulation and persecution. We SHOULD be willing and ready to give our lives for Christ Jesus.

Revelation 7:14 ...'And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.' ... Think about this verse very carefully. These are the saints in white robes. They 'came out' of great tribulation. Now, to come out of tribulation, they must have been IN IT in the first place. So these are those who have given their lives for Jesus and trusted in Him unto death.

According to the false secret rapture theory, the church will be raptured away BEFORE the great tribulation starts. Can you read all the above Bible verses and still believe that will happen? I believe the Bible, the very Word of God is crystal clear on this issue. Many if not most of us will have to suffer great tribulation and persecution.

Satan is Making War With the Saints

Revelation 12:17 ...'And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.' ... Since satan could not completely wipe out all of the saints during the reign of the Roman Catholic Church between 538AD - 1798, he has now gone away being very angry, and is making (preparing) war with the remnant church that is left now. Who is the remnant church? Those who keep the Bible Ten Commandments of God, including the seventh day Sabbath and they keep the faith of Christ Jesus.

All that we are and all that we have should be devoted to Christ, even if death is required to show our true love for Him.

Revelation 13:15 ...'And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.' ... Friend, this is the end time great tribulation that is coming. Anyone who does not bow down to the beast (the antichrist) will be hunted down to be killed. Who is the end time beast (the antichrist?); visit Who is the antichrist or the Bible antichrist to find out.

A time is coming, when the true saints of God will face severe persecution from the beast of Revelation 13 (which is the Roman Catholic Church). Please do not put your trust in this secret rapture theory, and hope to be taken away before the great tribulation, because if you do, then most likely you will not be prepared for what is coming upon this world soon. Give your all to Jesus Christ right now and He will help you to go through any trial or the great tribulation that is coming.
