We will look at some of the ways events have been used in the semantics of natural language and the kind of structure that has been proposed for events in this connection. The topics we will address include:
Graduate students can take the course for 7.5hp. Requirements are participation in the course, including presentation of some literature, and a term paper on an a topic decided in consultation with the instructor.
