Dear Eunice, Thank you for these 4 months. You are not only a language teacher- but much more. You walked not only the extra mile, but probably ten. Thank you for making the time here in Portugal memorable.

Eunice, thank you so much for your classes, they were of great help to learn, already a little more than the basics and it was never a dull moment. I really enjoyed these class days. You encouraged me with sweet words of encouragement, a listening ear, joyfull heart and a lot of patience.

There is too much to write to actually write it all. From my first fear filled day you have been a constant encouragement. You have reminded me, literally at times, to take one bite at a time and not be overwhelmed. - the tasty Portuguese treats of Portugal made language learning that much of a sweet experience :)

You have unstressed the start of a new adventure and my life and I don't know if I would have been brave enough to begin it without you (Sarah Mac Leod - SIM 2018 ) Canada
Thank you for all you have done to teach us (even 3 year old E.) Portuguese and to make our transition to Portugal smooth. We appreciate the time you've invested in us and wouldn't be here where we are in our Portuguese without you.

As we have said in person, you are truly a blessing from God. He obviously blessed you with talent, with patience, and with incredible flexibility. We wish these two weeks had been much longer. Not only have you been a fabulous teacher, guiding us easily through the past and present tenses, but you have also been a great friend and encourager. It is overwhelming to look at all the pictures on your wall and think of all lives you have impacted. You are a true servant of God and His Kingdom.-
We have overflowing hearts as we think of our time in Portugal learning your beautiful language. Not only you have an incredible knowledge of the grammar and intricacies of Portuguese, but you also have an incredible gift for teaching and passing on this knowledge. You always gave us encouragement at just the right time, in just the right amount, when we needed it most. You have a very special place in our hearts

We couldn't have asked for a better teacher than you- Thank you for explaining things so clear and simply. We really appreciated learning more things about Portuguese history and culture from you. Although it's been short we've gained so much from the language lessons. We are so grateful to the way you have carefully tailored it towards our medical work in Angola.

You have heard it before- you are a blessing! Thanks for your hard work, your help, your sacrifice. You have been a part of the "ministry"

Eunice has a natural gift for language teaching and this is reinforced by her flexibility which enables her to adapt to different students with a variety of learning styles. She is an enthusiastic teacher and she has a sound command of Portuguese Grammar and she is able to explain features of the language in a clear and helpful way. Her teaching is accompanied by invaluable insights into Portuguese culture and character and thus her experience and helpfulness are an aid to settling into Portuguese living.
Thanks for your diligent, careful and fun teaching. We have gained not only a new language, but a new culture and a new facet to our identities. A veil has been lifted in our understanding and in our new communication abilities we look forward to furthering the Gospel in Angola ( David and Fionna K. - Overland Mission)
For me it was a very good experience to have class with you. Portuguese is not an easy language but you helped me to get a good basic. ( Martin K. - Christliche Fachkräfte International e.V.) Germany
My name is Scott Gribble, and I am a missionary preparing to work in Mozambique in a leadership training ministry. I have been a student in "Portuguese Around the World" (Eunice's Course) for 9 months, and recently returned from a preliminary trip to Mozambique. Based upon my own observation, comments by other missionaries and nationals in both Portugal and Mozambique, it is my belief that Eunice Silva has been doing an excellent job in preparing a course that equips her students for ministry in Mozambique. She has done an excellent job of tailoring individual courses of study for my wife and myself based upon our learning styles, strengths, and future needs in ministry. She has also given us the necessary tools that will allow us to continue the learning process after we arrive in Mozambique. I will recommend this course to others who are wanting to study Portuguese in preparation for mission work.

I am amazed by God and every good thing He gives me that I don't deserve. One of those precious gifts is meeting you! I want to thank you for going beyond your "call and duty" and giving your time and talents for me in so many ways. Thank you for being such a special friend. It has been an incredible year here in Portugal, and our time here has left a permanent place in our hearts and lives. During this past year, you really challenged us to get out of our comfort zones and let our lives be touched by the language, culture and people of Portugal. We went to many awesome places at your suggestion and made the effort to explore different parts of Portugal. Each adventure gave us more confidence to go deeper into the culture. Your patience and understanding with us made this first year on the field a smooth transition.
