Eunbi Kim

I am a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania with an anticipated graduation date of June 2018. I work under Dr. Mauro Guillen (co-chair), as well as Drs. Emilio Parrado (co-chair), Janice Madden, and Ann Harrison as a scholar of international business, globalization, race/ethnicity and immigration, labor market inequality, and economic development. The primary focus of my research is on the impacts of globalization on the labor market, with emphasis on the roles of multinational enterprises (MNEs) and the host country’s economic policy. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods in my research. As part of my experience, I have authored peer-reviewed publications and taught several graduate and undergraduate courses.
