EULÀLIA SOLÉ

Born in Barcelona, she is sociologist and writer, using indistinctly  Catalan or Spanish.

MAIN PUBLICATIONS

World of working. Two studies: Ocio y valores culturales de los trabajadores de la Siemens de Cornellá (1986), and  Qui són, què fan i què volen els afiliats a CC.OO. del Baix Llobregat (1993).

Field of the car enterprises. Two books about an emblematic firm in Spain, the SEAT company. In 1994 it appeared SEAT, de 1950 a 1993, ed. Llibres de l’Índex, and in 2001, Seat 600. Un coche de leyenda, Edicions Benzina.

Social subjects. She recently has published  Con y contra Suárez. Voladura controlada del Aparato franquista y de la Ruptura. ed. Flor del Viento, 2009. In 1996 she approached to the ambit of drug consume and published El peso de la droga, ed. Flor del Viento, and in 2003 she explained about Qué es el Comercio Justo, RBA libros.

Novel. Edited in 2003, her novel is untitled El adiós de Ana, ed. Meteora.  

Narrative. Edited in 2008, her book is untitled Quatre Fets Singulars, ed. Meteora.  

Articles in newspapers. Since 1985 she collaborates on daily press with opinion articles. She has wrote for El PeriódicoDiari de Barcelona and  Punt Avui, and now she does regular collaborations for La Vanguardia.

Prizes. In 2001 she obtained the Essay Prize from the journal El Ciervo with her article Dinero y diversión, and in 2004 she became finalist on the XV Premio Ana María Matute de Narrativa with her story El hoyo, Ed. Torremozas.
